The next World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within, will feature Xal'atath as the Harbinger and Alleria Windrunner as her chief rival. Xal'atath, freed from the blade that trapped her, seeks to bring forth a new dark legacy with the help of the nerubians of Azj-Kahet. Alleria, a void hunter, must confront the maddening call of the Void while hunting down Xal'atath, leading to a unique rivalry that will define the nature of this new conflict.
